Deployment

How the platform is deployed

The backend runs on my own private self-managed Synology server with a custom domain and SSL certificate.

Infrastructure

The website is hosted on my own server and reverse proxied through Cloudflare to connect to the internet. The server is configured with RAID 10 for data redundancy and better performance.

Security

Docker is used for deployment, cloudflare WAF handles edge security, request filtering, protects exposed routes, and Docker Scout continuously scans container images for vulnerabilities.

Control

This setup gives full control over the infrastructure while keeping the app reliable, secure, and ready for external traffic. The server is configured with RAID 10 for data redundancy and performance, and is proxied through Cloudflare for caching, traffic optimization, and an extra layer of security.
